Perlane
Please fill the Details
Perlane is an injectable cosmetic dermal filler that softens facial lines and wrinkles. It is used for lip augmentation and facial scars and depressions. It is also used for many other facial cosmetic problems for both men and women.
About Hyaluronic Acid
This particular filler contains non-animal and stabilized hyaluronic acid gel. This keeps you safe from allergy risks associated with other injectable fillers. Hyaluronic acid was initially used to treat arthritis and sports injuries. Today it’s used to mold the contours of your face and to erase unpleasant lines and wrinkles. Regular dermal fillers require you to have skin testing before the treatment, but this cosmetic filler doesn’t.
Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance in your body, which is unfortunately depleted as you grow older. This is why signs of aging on your skin appear. Giving your skin doses of hyaluronic acid fills up wrinkles, lines and scars.
Treatment with Perlane
Treatment with this substance is effective in targeting facial wrinkles; lessening fine lines around the lips, mouth, nose, and forehead; augmenting chin and lips; and softening acne scars. Other problems it can solve are cheek depressions, hollows around the eye, and facial crease lines.
How long the effects will last varies on the areas treated. Generally visible effects can be noticed after 4 to 8 months. Lip and chin treatments may need to be repeated every 4 to 6 months, though. But other areas, for some people, remain smooth and wrinkle-free up to about 8 months.
Most people are more familiar with collagen to do this job. However, Perlane is safer and has longer-lasting effects.

Side Effects
Swelling and redness may be expected after the injectable filler treatment. Sometimes, pain may also be experienced. However, all these swelling and discomfort shouldn’t stretch up to more than 7 days. If red bumps appear on the injection site, contact your doctor right away to make sure it isn’t a serious side effect.
Before undergoing this procedure, make sure that you let your doctor know if you have any history of allergies or tendency to have skin outbreaks. You should also let the doctor know if you are on any kind of medication or even taking any herbal or dietary supplement.
