Laser Skin Rejuvenation
Please fill the Details
Laser skin rejuvenation is one of the latest cosmetic treatments to fight the signs of aging. This is a non-invasive procedure that uses light sources, such as laser or LED equipment. It aims to provide you with improved skin starting from within.
Purpose of Rejuvenation
This is designed to target static and dynamic wrinkles; pigmentation problems like freckles, melasma, and sun spots; and, acne and injury scars. It can also address vascular conditions where blood vessel lesions appear like blisters and redness on your skin. Loss of skin firmness and cellulite development can also be remedied by this procedure.
How It Works
Local anesthesia will usually be given to you before laser skin rejuvenation begins. Eyes will also be covered to protect them from the light source to be used. Depending on the area that will need to be treated, the rejuvenating procedure may take from 30 minutes to two hours.
The light used in the procedure will pass through the upper layers of your skin so that the cells under your skin’s surface will be stimulated and will produce collagen. Together with elastin fibers, the collagen will multiply after the treatment. Results will be observed months after the procedure.

Laser Skin Rejuvenation and Other Treatments
All facial areas can be improved with this treatment – eye region, cheeks, mouth, chin, etc. This doesn’t present any need for injections and considerable discomfort, unlike other cosmetic facial procedures. If you prefer, the doctor can apply a topical anesthetic to make sure any sensitive area that will be affected by the treatment will be covered.
This procedure doesn’t use chemicals and is a much deeper and accurate treatment than the others. Since it is a penetration of the light into the very cells that need to be stimulated, the effects are much stronger and happen faster. The healing process for this treatment is also more impressive than the others’. Redness may happen for about an hour or so and makeup may be applied immediately after the treatment.
Also, it can even be combined with other cosmetic procedures. Fillers, Botox, microdermabrasion, and surgical facelifts can be done with this skin rejuvenation using light sources.

Reminders about the Treatment
You need to remind yourself, though, that laser skin rejuvenation depends on stimulating collagen. And this activity takes time to take effect. You might need to have several sessions to achieve your desired results.
While this treatment doesn’t present much risk, make sure you discuss your medical history and your expectations with your doctor before undergoing the procedure. In this way, you’ll only have realistic expectations and know how to prepare for it. If you feel any discomfort or side effects after the procedure, talk to your doctor about it so it will be addressed immediately.
